Dr. David Bowden earned his doctoral degree in exercise science and also holds a doctorate in chiropractic medicine. Dr. David Bowden earned his doctoral degree in exercise science and also holds a doctorate in chiropractic medicine. He earned a masterâs degree in rehabilitation science and has completed advanced certification as a Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) from the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Dr. Bowden has also continued his post-graduate education with advanced work in neurology and certifications in kinesiology taping (CKTP) and advanced myofascial techniques (ART). After completing advanced training certifications in soft tissue injuries, Dr. Bowden served as Sports Therapy and Rehab Director with Airrosti Rehab Centers at Texas Family Medicine in Frisco, TX, working with athletes and weekend warriors in correcting neuromusculoskeletal conditions. Dr. Bowden grew up in the Plano area and is a proud to have gone to both Plano Senior High and SMU. He understands the athlete mentality through his years of team sports including playing football through the semi-pro level. He has also competed in adventure races, strongman competitions, and powerlifting. Most importantly, he has one son who is now in college on a music and academic scholarship!
