Roberto Maya earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Sports Medicine from the University of Texas-Pan American in Edinburg, TX. He currently holds his Athletic Training license from the Advisory Board of Athletic Trainers with certifications through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) including Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES), Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES) and Golf Fitness Specialist (GFS). Roberto started his career as an Athletic Trainer working with high school athletes and later worked as a trainer for the Dorados Semi-Professional Arena Football team and Head Athletic Trainer for the Edinburg Coyotes Independent Baseball League. He continued to expand his skills working as an Assistant Athletic Trainer for the Menâs Basketball Team at the University of Texas-Pan American. During his time in Dallas-Fort Worth, Roberto has also had the privilege of working with the Grand Prairie Air Hogs Independent Baseball League, Jim McClean Golf Academy and individually worked with NCAA, NFL, NBA and MLB athletes. His areas of expertise include Assessment of Orthopedic Injuries and Rehabilitation with athletes and the adult population. Roberto is currently pursuing his Level 1 Ortho-Kinetics Certification from the Ortho-Kinetics Institute in Dallas,TX.
