Dr. Scott Greenberg specializes in holistic and comprehensive approaches to sports medicine, regenerative orthopedics, chronic pain, arthritis, and post-concussion syndrome. Using methods such as prolotherapy, PRP, and stem cell therapy, he has had great success in treating patients from around the world with a wide variety of problems. A world-renowned prolotherapy physician, Dr. Greenberg counts many Olympic athletes and professional sports stars among his patients. He performs approximately 4,000 procedures each year, and has treated many star/MVP athletes from team, such as the Philadelphia Flyers, Philadelphia Eagles, Philadelphia Phillies, Philadelphia 76ers, Baltimore Ravens, San Francisco 49ers, New England Patriots, Toronto Blue Jays, and the Colorado Avalanche. However every patient, no matter who they are, are treated with compassion, kindness and like family. Dr. Greenberg became interested in pain management treatment when traditional medicine could not solve his pain problems. Having been struck by a drunk driver at over 75 miles per hour, Dr. Greenberg suffered for years with headaches and debilitating pain in his back, knee and shoulder. After months of therapy, MRI testing, and consultations with both orthopedic surgeons and neurologists, there was no treatment to be offered other than narcotics â which he refused. It was not until Dr. Greenberg discovered prolotherapy that he was able to treat himself and cure his chronic pain. He now enjoys activities such as biking, ocean kayaking, weightlifting, running, and hockey â when he is not helping others experience the same natural pain relief. He has lectured extensively and internationally on prolotherapy, PRP, stem cell therapy, and Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS). He sits on an institutional review board that oversees stem cell studies and research and serves as a consultant in regenerative orthopedics to a major multinational biotechnology company. He has helped to design medical devices for stem cell and PRP extraction. Dr Greenberg is the author of Self-Care Anywhere, published by New Century Publishing in 2000, as well as many articles on alternative medicine that have appeared in esteemed medical journals. He is frequently featured in print and broadcast outlets at both the national and local levels. Dr. Greenberg is a diplomate of the American Board of Family Practice, a member of the American College for The Advancement in Medicine and a member of the American Association of Orthopedic Medicine.
